Hey guys,
I've got a pair of OME struts in my shed and looking to get a pair of coils to do the upgrade - have done a fair amount of research and I think that the following setup will suit me just right...Can anyone with experience please confirm if this makes reasonable sense:
I'm looking to up the ride height, but not necessarily by a full 2" - anything from 1" to 45mm would be good enough for me.
The ride firmness is also important - I don't want to stiffen up the ride too much...car is still used for a lot of on-road mileage
The struts I already have are:
Front: OME N201S
Rear: OME N202
I'm looking to use these struts with the following from Dobinsons:
Front: Dobinsons C59-300
Rear: Dobinsons C59-325
According to the suspension database on this forum and Dobinson's site, this should give me a lift of approx 45mm at the rear and slightly less in front. Also the spring rates for these coils are about the same as OME coils in front but lower in the rear, indicating a slightly softer ride...
