I did the calipers myself, you only have to grind back about 3mm in the required spots. It takes about 15 mins but you need a rim to check the caliper as you grind. I tried a heap of rims and the only one i found thats works is the ROH TREK II 16x8. With this set up it gave me about 3-4in in track width.

I had Tough Dogs on my 60 Series, blew the seals (no eskimompie jokes please) on the rears at 5000k driving from Tassie to Adelaide on a 35+ Degree day. Replaced under warranty and quit again within 12 months. Must say though they replaced this set with a pair to fit the 80 which replaced the 60 - they lasted about 15,000km

I won't be using them again.

G'day Joracha. Did you get Russell from opposite lock to do your 2" lift and would you recommend Tough Dog after having it fitted for a while?

Notice you also have a snorkel, did u get any benefit in power/fuel consumption when it was fitted ?

I just did a long drive in my work 4x4 with tough (as f&^k) dogs.

They have been on the vehicle for a few years now and whilst they perform pretty well they are pretty severe in any bumps or rough bits.
Unless they have seriously changed the design and/or valving and ride comfort, I wont be going for them again.
I am finding that it makes the drive very tiring.
The rear feels like you have run over a boulder in simple spoon drains!

                            Honestly, one word:

                            BILSTEIN®

I was originally sceptical about the hype but I have since found that they don't have their reputation for no reason. They are amazing and worth every cent IMHO.

                            Drew.
