  • King Springs or something else?

I'm looking to upgrade my suspension 40-50mm. I have a D4D, steel bar + winch. I'm currently looking at the following:

    Front: Kings KTFR-101H / Bilstein BE5-A712

    Rear: Kings KTRR - 102 / Bilstein BE5-A713

+ Firestone airbags with kevlar socks for the rears

After reading many comments I'm still unsure about the front springs.

I'm pretty sure the 101H's will be correct for height, and people seem very happy with them ride wise, but after time I keep reading they sag.

The HD's could be the go but apparently are a much harsher ride. Not sure if these sag or not over time.

Personally I feel that both springs aren't ideal. One rides great (for my weights) but sags over time, the other is so harsh that people replace them out as it's too stiff for their liking. Any thoughts?

Well I've done some more digging and it seems that ALL springs sag.

Ideally I should be factoring in a little sag, which could take years to ultimately settle in. Guess I'll go the 101H's.

And you can adjust the strut seats to help get the desired height too.
