  • Clonk noise in right front suspension

I get an intermittent single "clunk" noise in right front suspension area when turning left, sometimes when on /off power it occurs, not all the time, Happens, say, turning and driving up or back out the drive over our shallow modern street driveway gutter, or turning over railway crossings etc.
220,000 km, Prado Grande Diesel 2006.
Any suggestions, failing adjustable shocker, drive shaft etc, steering etc? Thanks in advance for your experience & ideas.

Make sure all the suspension nuts/bolts are tight first. Has similar issue with mine and ended up being loose lower alignment bolts arm bolts. Needless to say don't use the tyre shop fo alignments anymore

I finally found out that the noise was loose steering wheel shaft universal joint bolts. Only took a few years to find out what it was…
