3" Lift

My daughter is looking at a Prado as a starter 4wd (makes Dad happy!!!) and I have seen one advertised with a 3" lift kit. If it is a genuine 3" lift what else would need to be done along with this? Anything I should be looking for in particular.?

all depends on what you want to do.

I am looking at taking my current 2" up to a 3" (with 4" shocks) and you have to change the rear brake lines but unsure if you need to change drag links or panhard rod also.

if its 3" in the front you really should run a diff drop kit to take some of the pressure off those CV's.

It would be nice if the control arms were changed with that lift so you don't lose to much flex but the diff drop is pretty important to have, Prado's do CV's regularly.
