If anyone thinks this should not be here then Mods please delete this post:

Component Usage by Members (based on posts in other threads on this forum). Hopefully I have got this all correct and accurate. My interest in this is I'm looking at putting a set of OME in about two weeks after Easter. Perhaps I'll have a glance in the direction of the Nitro Sports 8)

I have been watching this thread with great interest. I am planning to upgrade my suspension from the stock package in the next 6 months and given the downturn in the economy, my money will go to an aussie company with a quality product. Just need a bit more info on the new OME shocks.

Hey Hoppy, i'm about to get the Nitrocharger Sport and OME Suspension upgrade at teh ARB in QLD. Have thought / talked about other stuff as well, such as Lovell / Bilstein, EFS / Tough Dog combinations, however i think i'll go with the OME solution. Further, i'd rather support an Aussie-brand as much as i can.

Price appears consistent with Sydney. I have only requested one quote from ARB Artarmon and they said
                  $1762.00 fitted including Wheel Alignment.
This includes OME Nitrocharger Sport Struts and Shocks, OME Springs, and Rear Shock Stoneguards.

Can anyone confirm if the sport shock 60004 have 2 or 3 year warranty. I thought 3, the ARB store that confirmed my right hand side one was stuffed today claimed they have a 2 year warranty.

I purchased them on the 31st Dec 2010!!!

                          Thanks

I thought there were 2 types of shocks, nitrocharger with 2 year 40k warranty and nitrocharger sports with 3 year 60k warranty.

I have been doing some research and can only find part numbers as per above and can't confirm if the shocks above have 2 or 3 year warranty.

I've had mine for 2 years and 19 days, I'm hopeful ARB will come to the party anyway. Waiting for a call from them following my visit on Friday.

Hi Robbo, the OME warranty has not long been updated.

To confirm, prior to Jan 2012, Nitrocharger Sport products carried a 3 year, 60,000km warranty and all other OME products carried a 2 year, 40,000km warranty.

From Jan 2012, the warranty on all OME products was made 3 years, 60,000km to ensure consistency across the range.

If you'd like to PM me the details of the ARB store you've been dealing with, so we can clarify this with them, that'd be great.

                            Cheers, Sam.
