  • Grande Suspension question

    Hi Guys,

As you know Grande comes with an air suspension which will do minor rise/drop automatically after you start/stop the engine.
This somehow stop functioning after I came back from Anna Bay.
I checked my dashboard and there is no error indication.
I can still adjust rare height by push the controller.

This is not a big problem as I can still drive but I am getting very frustrated as it suddenly stop working which makes me worry somewhere could be wrong.
Do you guys have any experience on this matter?

    Re: Grande Suspension question

The suspension adjusts itself automatically, if you refer to page 168 in the manual it states that the suspension 'may' change in accordance with temperature when stopping the engine. I have noticed with mine that it doesn't always adjust the height, only when it wants to.

      Take it to a dealership.
I checked all the fuses and all of them fine, unless there is some fuse hidden somewhere else besides the front engine fuse box and the one next to the steering.
I rang the service department, the gentleman said he wasn't awared that the air suspension will rise/drop automatically but he will love to take a look.
This sounds scary as they probably will muck around as they are not awared.

I read the manual, but I don't get the temperature bit; temperature of the car or the weather? but either one I don't see much difference in term of temperature 2 weeks ago and last week. :? :?

Anyone has any other suggestion? or I should trust the dealer and go back to them?

I would have though ambient temperature? (for example- as it gets warmer the air expands in the bags enough to raise the vehicle a little... in theory anyway!)

I don't think there is any problem with the suspension.
as the other day after I switch off the engine and get off the car I heard the air release noise
so now it means the suspension will release air whenever it feels like to.

Sounds totally normal to me, it will "ONLY" adjust if it is out of its height setting when you turn it off. Mine only does it now and again.
