  • Bilsteins in Perth

Hi guys I just picked up my 120 from Autoride in Balcatta after getting Bilsteins all round and Lovell springs 45mm raised and was rather impressed with the ride on the drive home. I would highly recommend Arnie for his service and professionalism. I am off to Kalbarri on the grand final long weekend and hope to try it out offroad I will let yous know how it goes.

    Cheers JIMI

I've been looking at doing the same and as I don't see myself DIY'ing or driving to Assassin to get it done, it's nice to know of someone relatively close. How much? do you remember

Assassin will send em over! No Prob. Perth 4x4, also in Balcatta, knows all about the AutoCraft kits, and will fit them up without blinking an eye. That's what I did and have been very impressed since the day they were fitted. I found it difficult to source RidePro springs over here although there is one 4x4 place I found stocking ridepro gear. Coastal 4x4 has also fitted some Autocraft gear for Perthites. WA suspensions in Osborne Park also do the Bilstein Lovell combo though if that's the way you want to go.

I am getting my lift done this afternoon, ridepro (Springs and Shocks) all round. No worries with them getting the gear, it was there the day I ordered it. It has been haredr to arrange a time to get the work done. Was the Ridepro stockest the one in Mayree Iron-Paww?

Yep! That's right! Off Road Equipment in Myaree. I didn't end up getting a off them though as Mr Assassination helped me out. They were certainly on my list though.

I have always used Arnie for Bilsteins (he's the WA Agent). Probably the most professional and knowledgable person I've found in Perth for suspension work. Those that have seen his workshop / rally race / history will understand his committment.

My set-up's just done 10k all over WA, and on the roughest roads many locals said they have seen (unusually busy season) for a while. Performed flawlessly.

            Well worth the little extra.

Hahaha that's an understatement... I remember bringing a set of leaking struts into his workshop (wheelstand at the drags gone bad) and poping them on the floor. Oil slowly leaking onto his painted workshop floor....should have seen his face...he immmediately got a plastic tray poped the struts in it and then proceeded to wash down the floor with metho and a rag before I could blink.

He gives the same attention given to every car so I'm never concerned leaving my toys there.

I'm sure other shops are fine...I just really rate this one.

                    G'day Bankrupt,
I have just fitted a deluxe bar similar to your's.
The bar seems to sit a little low and looks to loose when driving. The guys at ARB say this is due to revised mounts.
Have you noticed any excessive vibration with your's?

                      Howdy rakatan

It sits low so that it doesn't hit the body when the chassis flexes. Along with some others on here I've had mine come within mm's of it touching when really loading things up (pics on here somewhere).
It will also vibrate / wobble. No need for concern, it is the mounting and to date I've heard no dramas with it.
