Snapped Grande Air Bag Straps

Had My Grande Suspension modified by ATS in Geelong 2 years ago and so far very happy but checked under the vehicle the other day to find the drivers side Air bag restraining cable had snapped about 50 mm above the bottom mount :cry: . Can't say for certain if it was my driving that caused it to break but the only 4wdriving I do lately is on the Kimberley coastline and some dirt roads but defiantly no severe articulation, has anyone else had this happen to them?
Rang ATS to see if they could help and ownership has changed and no warranty but was quoted $200.00 just to replace the 4mm cable! :cry:
Will see if i can a replacement locally

ATS doesnt exist any more, though I do have the AATS4X4.COM domain pointing to my site :mrgreen: its Good Year Autocare these days, and though i worked there when its was ATS, I left just before the sale to make it a tyre store only, and started out on my own.

It is an unusual spot to break on the cable, and I havent seen it before, but we dont do the Grande air bag fix with those components any more either.

I would be surprised if a company doing stailness handrail cables, or lifting cables couldnt make you one, as the straps are all standard components from this industy, and should be less than $50.

Stevo if one exists go to your local boat repairer marina. They should be able to know up what you want

we are in Broome and don't have a Marina as yet.....so I'll try the local Tinny shop!
