With your Prado on level ground and at normal kerb weight, crack your upper and lower control arm bush bolts. This will reset the bushes to your new ride height, taking the stress out of them. You'll probably hear them move (with a crack), if not a couple of wacks with a rubber or rawhide mallet will encourage them.
With some luck you'll pick up your 5mm of down travel.

How dose this sort of lift go on your C V's? I'm told that it puts quite a bit of extra strain on them and shortens there life by a fair bit,and there not cheap to replace,so has any one had any experience with this at all. I'm also keen to get the most travel out of my IFS front end, but dont wont to compromise the drive line in any way.

Dont forget, if spacing up the front, you
MUST keep a minimum of 60mm of down travel from ride height
hey darren ya get that, thanks mick when i installed the struts i lowered the car and then tightened the bottom bolt on the control arm so the bush should be set to the correct ride height
had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

Super important to set the lower strut bolts at ride height as well, when tightened.
As for CV wear, someone has mentioned, the Prado isnt so bad as they go from running uphill to the wheels at normal height, to running downhill on slightly more of an angle when lifted 50mm, so the angle isnt as severe as some IFS vehicles when lifted.
