2005 Grande - To keep TEMS & air bags or not?

Just picked up 2005 grande with 148,000km.

It's pretty good for its age but its already doing silly things with the rear air bags. And the tems is no doubt not going to be great forever.

Should I just swap over to a decent after market setup or mess around with the factory setup?

At that mileage the shocks would be shot already. Air bags likely will be close to needing replacement. Depends if you want to keep the air suspension or not in the rear.

Is there a good argument for keeping the bags? I'm not especially in love with them.
