Failed suspension giving me a bouncy ride
Hi folks, here's what's happening on my Prado Grande 2005 v6.
The vehicle has been running well until I found the rear wheel is sitting low so I sent it to a 4wd mechanics nearby. After a day of inspection with soapy water, and observation at different height setting, no leak on the air suspension can be found.
In a road trip after 200km, the ride became very bouncy. The rear wheel is sitting low again, apparently it's on the bump stop. Height control is not responding, always N regardless of button click.
Interesting thing is somehow it fixed itself during the drive, with height control button working again. But next day, or after the stop, it would start bouncing again...
I'm worried if I send it to the mechanics nothing can be found. Anyone can shed some lights what may be happening? Air leak in suspension, compressor... ?
