Prado Grande Rear Tems problem 2003 model

Hi All
Rear airbags let go and car was often sitting on bump stops in the morning.
Wife would not wait for bags to inflate putting extra pressure on the shocks so they blew.
Replaced both rear airbags with genuine Toyota and replaced both rear shocks with KYB tems oem to suit.
Now the issue I have is the car just doesn’t feel the same as before the bags let go.
Bags are inflated so car sits at previous level and looks normal.
Yet the ride in the back is so harsh, every bump in the road is felt and if you go over speed bumps too fast it feels like something is bottoming out.
Could something else have worn?
Is there something that needs to be reset or reprogrammed when you update tems shocks?
Is the compressor not filling bags enough so you feel the jarring now.

When you adjust the comfort settings, does it affect the ride quality?

Yes it does.
You can feel it floating left to right like a boat but less as you turn dial to stiffen.

Maybe they were very worn shocks and now with the new shocks, they are what it's supposed to be.
At the soft comfort setting, does it still feel firm and like hitting the bumpstops? Is the rear end actually bottoming out?

Feels like hitting bump stops. Noticeable if you go over speed bumps quickly. Doesn’t feel like back is going down much to hit stops. Thinking of setting up go pro camera underneath
