[quote="Justo"]I've just installed King Springs in the front end I've also ended up with a 40-45mm lift over original with the bullbar and winch already mounted.
[quote="Justo"] Considering it was already about 15-20mm or so under normal ride height with the bullbar and winch, its prob only 20-25mm higher than original.

Hey Addy, check your front end measurements and compare them. Sure I could've gone with extra lift but it wasn't what I was wanting. I retained the original electronic shocks with the lift I've got, if I had gone with more lift I'm sure the shocks wouldn't last too long and I would have had to raise the rear which I dont want to consider yet.!
Works perfect for what I want, still great on road and the extra lift works great offroad.
Sounds good and i am thinking of doing something myself.
But what i am confused about is that you said in the first quote is after installing kings springs you ended up with 40-45mm lift over original.
Then second quote you ended up with 20-25mm lift over original.
I know where you are coming from so you are deducting the 15-20mm from the 40-45mm.
But if you order springs say 2inch above standard isn't that what you would have ended up with in your first post.
Don't know if i am making sense

I decided to go with King Springs in the front end and using the original TEMS shocks. At this stage I haven't got a cool 2grand to spare and I am only looking at getting the front backup while retaining the TEMS and backend airbags. The installation went well and it has raised the front from 728 to 778 and the rear drop down to 778 from 780(yep check it a few times and I can say now My Prado is on the Level). I am getting a wheel alignment tomorrow and I am hoping that it will settle in the front to around 770mm or else it is going to get alittle help in the way of a winch . The handling has improved greatly and it doesn't have that spongy feel when I go around the bends so all in all I am happy with the results even though I didn't think it would of raised it that high.

Darren I have checked the droop and its about 65mm and rechecked the measurements while I was at it and the front is at 777mm and the back is now 781mm after the wheel alignment and a full tank of gas.
I will now let it settle and see what I end up with but at this stage its what I was after in retaining current factory controls and boosting the front end. The extra money save at this point are going for a new set of tyres that is now need urgent attention .

Just wanted to clarify that King's Spring part number for the front spring is KTFR-101HD? I got a quote for $445 supply, fit and align (SA Suspension, Pooraka). Spring only is $160. Is this reasonable?
Thanks Madkore. I rang back to check again between the KTFR-101 and KTFR101HD. They have indicated that about 50mm of lift will be achieved for either. As I don't have 2nd battery, bar or winch, I'll aim for the KTFR-101. I don't know if this will be the right decision as I might get a bar later down the track, but right now, there is no need for a bar.
I confirmed the prices again and they are:
Fitting $85 per corner
Alignment $55
Springs $175/pair
Excuse my ignorance but when people say 'check the drop' what measurement are they talking about ? - the difference between what two points ?
Droop is the down travel you have from the suspensions normal ride height.
Ie; measure rim to guard, then jack up the car (by the chassis) until the wheel is clear of the ground and measure again. The difference is the amount of available "Droop".
