  • Standard Lovell Springs + Bilsteins

I am considering fitting Lovell standard height springs (do not need any lift as I tow a bitumen tarmac only caravan) and Bilstein shockies. Lovells have advised me that their standard springs are 20% stronger than the Toyota original ones. We don't normally carry much load but when we do the Prado seems a bit saggy in the rear; hence the desire to improve it a bit. I know many forum members retro fit with longer springs to give lift but has anyone fitted the combination that I am considering?

If so, can you please advise your perceptions of your Prado's handling and ride performance? Has anyone got any thoughts on how fitting airbags instead would compare with what I propose?

    Thanks, Glenn
