To be truthful mate, I don't know the pros or cons of either. I suspect it doesn't matter because it will only get used if I have two flats. I wouldn't plan to use it as a regular wheel on the car.Comment

Don't forget wheel nuts if your vehicle has alloy's & you buy a steel wheel or vice versa.
