New Cooper Tyres Availability

Does anyone know when Australia might be getting these two new cooper tyres?
Apparently New ST Maxx to replace ST-C and new AT3 replacing ATR. Does anyone have any further info on this?
I had a look at the Cooper website but they don't seem to exist. I know a few have mentioned them here. Any experience from those running these tyres yet?

the best you could do is ring a local cooper dealer in your area and see what information you can get out of them. cheers samo

Contacted Cooper Australia and they said that the new AT/3 has landed in Australia and is available in:
245/70R16
265/70R16
265/65R17
275/70R17


The ST MAXX is due in soon but no details on sizes yet. Apparently there is a large shipment of both these tyres due for June/July 2011

Noticed on the Cooper USA website that the AT3 is available in 265/65/17 LT. That could be good, provided Cooper Australia bring those in and not just the Passenger construction.

The AT3 was featured on show in Brissy and they mentioned Light truck 265/65/17.

They had the LT on display today at the Coopers stand at the Brisbane 4X4 show. The rep said they are available now.

The AT3 is on the Aussie Cooper website now. Looks like they have made some substantial improvements over the regular ATR strengthening the tyre and improving the tread compound to chipping. Direct link below.

Have had a set of the AT 3 for about 5000k's and very happy with them. Good in wet and dirt roads. Not been off beaten track yet but so far impressed.

i would be interested in what price they were too? i got quote today of 335 each for the at3. and they said that price wont increase for sometime as the price increase has already hit at beginning of the year

also what pressure you running in them on bitumen? cheers

Local tyre distributors here in Brisbane are raving about the AT3's, apparently they wipe the floor with the ATR's. Quiet, larger grooves than the ATR's so should be better in mud.
265's/ 65, LT 80 000km warranty, 265/ 70, 90 000km warranty
Price varied from place to place $350-$370 will do better if you push them. I'm still torn between these and M/T ATZ 4rib.

Wes what made you go for the ST Maxx's over ATR of AT3's? And are they quite?
