  • Federal Tyres

    Hi all

I am currently looking around for new tyres, what I really want is MT ATZ 4 Ribs, but alas they are a little out of my price range.
I have been looking at Federal tyres in their AT couragia AT or MT, I can get the AT's in the LT construction for $250 each fitted and balanced and MT's for $295 fitted and balanced.

I guess what I am aasking is has anyone used them and got any feedback?
I have searched and searched the web but can't find much feedback on the 4WD tyres, but plenty on their normal car tryes.

Maxxis Bighorn as an alternative? I see quite a number of them. Sorry, can't help with Federal Tyres.

Yeah they are in consideration as well for just over $50 more a shoe than the Federals. Obviously see heaps of reviews from the bighorns so I am fine there.

It's a good price though and its buy it now. It can end anytime. I found freight at $90 door to door. It's a bargain if you asked me

yeah it is, but I doubt they will stay at that price as its an auction not buy it now. I am definitely keeping an eye on them and may put in a bid depending on what they get up to closer to the auction closing.

Work has decided to save $$ and use a cheap tyre place for our fleet of ranger work 4x4's.

They sure are cheap and thats cause I think we get what we pay for. Maxxis bighorn and federal but not sure of the tyre model

I would pass on them for my own truck. They wear fast and we have had awful balance issues.
