Yep, just bought my fathers' 120 GXL and had AT3's fitted all around. Very nice tread pattern, very sexy, very quiet and very pleased thus far. I used to run ST's on my 2007 Hilux. The new AT3's seem to be a good cross between the old ATR's and old ST's. Whereas the new ST Maxx's seem to be slightly more agressive than the old ST's. I was cautious about the AT3's initially, but I'm very pleased now that I decided to go with them. If you liked the old ST's, then you'll like the new AT3's. I run them at about 34psi but might drop them a bit for normal unloaded use.

Sorry, didn't get a price as the dealer fitted them for me. I think around $1600 for five would be close to the mark.

Cheers Nik for the belated feed back.I had the AT3's fitted last week and yes your right very sexy and quiet. They handle well on the tarmac...looking forward to giving them some beach work this break.
Paid $330 fitted which I was happy with.

Have done just over 10000 km on my so far and couldn't be happier, I did some beach driving 2 days ago, quite soft sand and left them on 35 psi, 1st gear HL and no problems, thats with 2 adults 3 kids and 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Money well spent I believe. Very quiet, great in the wet.

Been running these on my work 120 for six months and so far, very impressed. Alot of off road on gravel based roads etc. Wearing well and very quite and surefooted in the wet.

I have just ordered the same tyres for my new 150, to swap out the grandcraps before delivery...

Just went to a local tyre dealer to get a price on the Cooper AT3.
The dealer replied and advised that he had removed the Cooper AT3's and replaced with different brand tyres on 4 vehicles so far, due to excessive noise from the tyres.
Now, I am in a dilemma, I was going to fit these tyres, as I had good runs with the last 4 sets ot Cooper AT's.
              I don't like noise......what do others think?

                  Jon,

I've had then for 1 month now and done about 2,500 Kim's with them in clouding a trip to sth aus from Melbourne. To be honest they are as quiet as the grandtreks. I even wound the window down at 100kmh and 60kmh and can't hear them. Don't let this sway you from your purchase as its rubbish. Don't know about wear yet but my mate has done 50000 on them and they still look new!

                      Loz,
I think that's a good price for your set of AT3s.
Where did you purchased them? If you don't mind.

It was good until I got bogged in a massive clay pit and had to struggle through it for 20 mins then got snatched out by a passer by... Had to get it realligned and balanced and had to scrub off 100kg of clay stuck to the underbody... I'm still dropping clumps of Clay as I drive... Thinking of getting some ramps and removing the bash plates to get even more clay out!

                            Had the AT3's fitted today.
Not noisy at all, balance ok and alignment was spot on and didn't need adjusting.
Looks like a more aggressive tyre, will see how it performs.

I did a bit of a test last when I bought the 694s for my 120 Prado. I pretty much had my mind made up due to the research I did on here and other sites.

I rang a few dealers and then rang again a few weeks to a month later. They ALL changed their tune on which tyres they recommend. one said the Coopers (ATRs at that stage) were rubbish (he was the only Cooper dealer in town) and then said that he loves them!!!

I put it down to the fact that the push whatever they have had sitting on the shelf and want to get rid of. Now I just do my research and then ring around for the best price and that way it isn't biased.
