I originally purchased a set of the ST's and did a few trips into the Flinders and had lug tears on all. Decided to to stick with Coopers and got a set of the ST/C's (similar to the ST maxx softer compound) and been all over SA, NT and the Cape over 5 yrs and have had very little wear and no sign of any lug problems. I also use a set of the STT's for the high country and occasional mud runs and these are all just as good as the ST/C's. I put the damage to the ST's down to twin lockers but the other Coopers have had no drama's whatsoever so suspect the harder compound is the issue. The ST's are now relegated to trailer duties.
