purchased a set of aftermarket alloys for me truck (copy of gxl wheels) and found the standard wheel spanner will not fit inside the slot to undo nut, normal 19mm socket fits ok. just wondering if anyone else had the same problem
had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

Grab yourself a decent breaker bar and the correct size socket. Mutch better than one of those pidly little genuine wheel spanners!

And while you are buying your 19mm socket make sure it can handle heaps of torsion they are coloured black, this enables you to undo the wheel nuts that some of our less educated tyre/ servicing companies that don't use a torque wrench to check the correct tension of wheel nuts on alloy wheels. :x :x :x
