EOI - 17" genuine 120 series alloy rims

Hello all,

I am thinking about swapping over to some aftermarket rims and I am after an idea on the level of interest in my factory GXL wheels before I commit. I have 5 in total.

If you're interested in acquiring 1 or multiple genuine Toyota 17" wheels either for a spare, camper trailer or full replacement set, let me know (either in here or by PM). If there's some interest there, then I'll put them up officially in the 'For Sale' section.

To give you an idea, I'd be looking for somewhere around the $250-$300 mark for each of them as they are in pretty good nick. Pick up would be available however if you are out of Perth postage would be on top of that price.

Just brought 5 on Ebay for $650 + freight from Brisbane to Adelaide $72 total of $722 for the lot.
Good price I thought, but your right Madkore, in good condition they are worth $300 each.

You can buy speedy Grande's for less than $300 each, apart from the wheel nuts they are pretty much identical, so unless you want all the wheel nuts the same then $300 is a fair ask for a second hand rim.

What sort of rims are you looking at Madkore..??? I'm back on the market to spend on some rims for the Prado, but there is not a lot of options around. I don't find any thing on the Australian market that appealing or to look that good.

I'm actually now thinking of going up to a set of 18"s and just go with some All Terrain tyres.

I think $250-$300ea is a pretty reasonable price for good quality second hand genuine rims. I know Speedy Wheels look the same, but I'm not about to price my rims against a second hand set of Speedy's.

I am willing to sell each rim individually to appeal to those who either want to buy a couple for their tow rig (e.g. camper trailer) so that they are interchangeable with the rims they run, or someone looking for a genuine (perhaps second?) spare so they don't have wheel nut issues like if they were to run a Speedy.

I admit, options for "good" (very subjective term there) looking rims after limited for the 120's, but the rims I have my eye on are the Allied Hammer Rims. Saw them on Sam's 150 and I reckon they really set it apart. Haven't seen them on a 120 yet.
