Cant find 17"steel rims for 120?

Hi guys!

My local tyre shop say he cannot find aftermarket steel rims for my up and coming upgrade to the prado
Is he right?
He been told by every supplier that it cant be done?

Am i mistaken that prado 120's cant be fitted with 17"steelies????

Toyota made two 17" steel wheels for the Prado. 17" x 6" ET15 and 17 x 7.5" ET30. You should try your Toyota dealer. Some time back you could get the 17x 7.5" rims for little over $100 each.

Dynamic make a 17*8 in et10 (rated at 1400 kg) which fits my 150 GX. 17*8 et20 is available also but not Dynamic. Either of these should fit the 120. These are available in Victoria.

A 17x8 ET10 should be available in black with the Dynamic D shape.

I was told the same thing by the local bob jane shop and didnt think that was right so went home and had a look on bob janes web sit and fond this http://www.bobjane.com.au/Wheels/Dynamic-Wheels the only reason I can think of for them telling me I can't is they were only looking at the 30 of set. The dynamic rims are on eBay for about $140 each

A ET30 offset is fine for the 120 but no good legally for the 150 which runs ET25 offset.
