Sorry but with the way my cooper ATR's are delaminating  I don't call them decent.

I have been through probably 30 different ones by different manufacturers and can't find ANYTHING!

    I want something chunkier than ATR's - that's all I'm asking for!

    ...well, given up...I'm getting 7.5"'s
Yep just been through the excersize myself and ended up going with the 7.5''rims for that reason.

Ended up with new alloy rims & 265/70/R17 Mickey T ATZ 4 ribs & they look FULLY SICK MAN

Piccies up when the rain stops (not that I have a problem with the rain! ) The spare does just go on the back but I have bought a few http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic....chopping+board chopping boards & bolts for the spacer to stop it rubbing.

        Hey FB,
        Does your Prado have flares?

Re: Decent Offroad Tires for the 17x6 Steelies??

Hi Darren, no, I will put some very small ones on if I need to (i.e. come into any trouble) but as with the GX above with the STTs, the ATZ's are borderline. Probably more on the illegal side of borderline but I might be able to get my way out of it. I'll probably put some flares on at some stage down the track anyway as they do flick up a lot more dirt etc. I'll notice that more once I've been through a bit of mud.
The amount of lift I've got is the best thing at the moment - 40mm & probably more given the old tyres had no tread left on them. No rubbing anywhere that I can tell, but I haven't had it at full lock on full articulation yet. The spare will fit on the back without a spacer but it does rub so I made up a chippy's chopping board spacer tonight - works a treat.

Haven't got round to taking any pics yet, will try to get some up soon.
          Cheers - Phil Taylor

            Before Rim/Tyre upgrade (17x8 rims w/ 265/70/R17 Mickey Thompson 4 Rib ATZ):

Had some more showing how far they're sticking out but I need to shoot them in daylight.

I had Cooper ATR 235/65/R17's on but it's handling better than they did - possibly as they were under load index and bald as me

Hard to tell in these pics but yeah it does look far better.
