  • Bfg km2 in 255/80 r17

I have seen some one mention the bfg km2 in 255/80 r17 but asking a local dealer i got dumb looks as there is not a listing for them in australia (so i was told)

Google shows me they are available in American market, my question is has anyone ran them and where did u get them?

I'm interested in the possibility of going a narrower 33" tyre, was thinking of importing 5 but was quoted $5,500 postage lol 😳 so I guess they come with a free boat or something...

I could go 285's but would prob need new rims with them so was trying to save spending a extra $1500 on rims..

But let me know what you think

    Thanks

When I was looking around for tyres I called everywhere looking for the 255/80/17 and had no luck just like you ! Had to import them

I settled for the 285/70/17 , and a steel rim in +20 offset is only $100 from a tyre shop. It will cost you mad $500 bucks extra

But black steelies look WAY better than the alloys

And the 285 are worth every cent , so much grip. Go the km2 aswell insanley good tyre !!

They'll fit on 2" lift no worries.

Yeh well I bit the bullet and ordered a set of 285/70 17 in bfg km2's and a set of the black alloy procomp rims as a few have in 0 offset. Pretty pricy but should be worth it paying $3525 for 5 tyres n rims so i hope there worth it..

Got heaps to go into prado as I'm leaving to go to the cape in 3 weeks for a 6 week trip..

      Thanks for the reply ghostriderhusky..
