  • Brand New 17" 120 Alloys.

    Hi All,

If anyone is looking for some 120 17 x 7.5" GXL/VX/Grande alloys, I am able to sauce them relatively cheaply.

You may only need one for an extra spare, a new one to replace the one your mrs scraped, or you may want 5 to replace the stockers on a GX. Whatever your need, I am able to get them for $210 a wheel.

They are brand spankers and still in boxes with nuts, valve stems, and centre caps.

    Cheers.

      Aftermarket.

Are identical as a brand new vehicle wheel. I have 1 of these wheels in my 6 wheel rotation and to be honest, I wouldn't know which one it was now.
      :?
      Cheers.

        17" Prado alloy

        Hi There D4DPrado

Are you still able to source the alloy wheels? I am looking for a second spare. I have spoken to a supplier in Melb who says he can supply aftermarket replicas but they need to be used with the specific nuts which are not the same as the OEM ones. Is this the case with your wheels?

        Thanks for your help.

I am in the same boat as your Melbourne guy.

These wheels that I have use to be made with the same nut base as the OE which is a flat base on the nut. However, these are now made with a tapered nut base.

Obviously it would just mean that you would have to carry a set of tapered nuts to use that wheel if necessary.

          Cheers.

Wouldn't mind a set of five to replace the originals on my GX . What do you recon the the freight to Tas. would be ?
What is their origin ? Speedy Wheels make a replica in Aus and they sell for around $220 if you look around they don't come with the Toyota center caps however .

You could probably get them machined to accept the OE nuts.

Honestly, I could not tell you the freight charge to Tassie. May pay to make a call to your local national courier depot. See how you go Bruce. Cheers.

                  Hi Big Bruce,
I'm actually looking to get some steel wheels to put on a camper, and as an off road set for the Prado (when it comes). Are your steelies 17 x 7.5 ?
If you were wanting to sell them I could be interested. PM me if you like.
                  Cheers, Bes.

I think you are asking for trouble with insurance, warranty, and strength issues once you machine peices off a wheel. Especially around the hub and nuts of a wheel.
