Tire pressures offroad

What kind of pressure do you run offroad?
I tried 21psi in muddy terrain with very good results .
(Cooper STT 265/70-17).
The flex of the tires is tremendous.
Has anyone tried to go lower without de-mounting??

I've gone as low as 5 psi on sand, 12 psi on rocks, never lost a bead with 265/75R16 BFG MTs KM on 16x6 steel wheels. That "rim protector" or sleeve that the new BFGs have is great for keeping you mounted.
