I"d like to ask a favour of someone in Sydney that is near toongabbie road, girraween ,nsw 2145. I'm
I'm in emerald Central Queensland and looking at a set of 17x8 rims for my 120 and according to the rep Iv been in contact with he isn't sure that the rims won't make contact with the from brake calipers.

Iv just got new rubber (3000km) on my standard gxl rims so pretty keen on this particular rim as it will fit the rubber and Iv got the approval from my better half on these rims only.

So to cut to the point, instead of paying a few hundred $$$ in freight to find the don't fit if any one was keen to try these rims on their 120 to confirm if the will actually fit or not.

I have sent brake measurements to the rep but for the $$$ I thought I would try pp for some help.

16" will foul with the brake calipers. 17" are fine. Just check the offset of the new rims for legalities.

What is the offset for the wheels you are looking at and what size tyres will you be running?

The only thing you will need to do space the spare tyre carrier. Talk to the man who just posted^

Hi all. Looking to upgrade wheels/tyres on my 2008 prado. Currently has Bridgestone duelers 225/70/17 (on it when bought).
Mainly for road use, but will be used off road. Nothing too hardcore though. Wondering what everyone recommends. Cheers

So I bit the bullet and decided getting 1 rim delivered. Today I attempted to install it and it fouls with the two most outer points of the front brake calipers. It is a 17x8 rim but turns out the offset is actually et35. The company threw in some spacers to try but no such luck.

Somewhat glad I tried only one and tried before fitting a tyre.

I think I'll just wait to wear the rubber down on the near new boots and hopefully I'll have the funds to go 18 by then.

Spacers are not legal. They supplied the wrong offset, send it back.
