Ok so now after picking up the freebies from Leachy last week I now have lots of rims with three, maybe four different size tyres.
The four on the Prado are Continental Cross Contact ATs 265/65/17. The spare is still the Grandcrap 265/65/17
The three on my camper are 265/70/17 Mickey T's ATZs all on Prado Alloys.
The three from Leachy are 265/70/17 Mickey MTZs on Sunny steelies.
Obviously the MIckeys are bigger due to the 70 profile but the muddies are a fair bit bigger than the all terrains. Why is that??
I was hoping to change the tyres on the Prado to KM2's by Xmas but now am unsure whether they will be a different size diameter again.
I know I can't use the 70's as a spare on the car until I change the car tyres over to a 70 profile but will it be ok to use either the AT or MT as spares then?
Hoping I don't have to go out and buy 8 or 9 new tyres (so the car, trailer and one more spare all match) as the wife will surely murder me in my sleep.
Did I ramble on too much? Hope someone can shed some light on this for me as I'm confused.
