Sundowned.. I put a set on before easter, best I could find was $355 a corner, called Kmart tyre and auto Warwick (they will price match) told them best I could get so far, and they came back with $345 each fitted and balanced

Anyone put over 50,000 on their ko2's yet, how're they holding up? And for those in Perth where did you find the best price?
    Cheers

Fitted 70's to my 120 last weekend. No rubbing in wheel wells but even with removal of plastic backing on rear door the tyre was touching the paintwork. Hopefully AMTS can help out with spacer. My speedo is now under-reading by 4km/h tested against 2 GPS machines. I.E showing 96kms/h is actually 100kms/hr. The motto from now on is "take off 5" and I know I'm safe.
Noticing now that 100k/h is now at 2100rpm instead of the normal 2200 RPM in top gear (4 gear auto)

I figured I'd check in after running the KO2s for about 6 months. I've done about 10,000k on them, including a trip to Adele's Grove and a round trip from Mount Isa to Brisbane and back. I'm running 40psi on the highway and down to 26psi on the tough dirt tracks.

Still very happy with the tyres. They've resisted chipping very well (especially post Adele's Grove, the road up there isn't nice on tyres, and our convoy had 4 flats amongst 3 other cars) and wet bitumen performance is very predictable. Mine did wear a bit crooked on the front at the start, but that seems to have calmed down now, but I fear that might be my alignment more than anything. Road noise isn't an issue, and off road performance has been stellar. A friend of mine fitted some to his 100 series at the same time and on the few 4wd club runs we've been on up here they haven't broken a sweat on rocky climbs and in mud crossings.

They appears to be wearing very well, and they look like I'm on track to have a nice long life out of these (although I'm only 10k in).

    Very happy owner.

Best you remove that plastic backing. Mine rubbed on the paint even with the standard Grandtreks. If you ever want to mount a rear tyre bag, a spacer is a good idea.

Ha mjrandom, that would be interesting to see.

I had actually thought that was the only place I was worried about corigator.

Contact was with the black plastic backing surround. That surround was then pushed onto the paint and rubbed when on corrugations.

Maybe the lettering? On my 120 I thought I had clearance for the 275s only to find the words backwards in the paint.

They look good. I thought mine didn't need a spacer either, but after a while the tyre rubbed off a little paint, so I went for AMTS spacer.
