has anyone checked there tyres for the year they were made? I got 2011 on my tyres and purchased in 2015.

I've got 17,000 on mine and still haven't worn down to the little tags on the inside of the tread. They have only had about 5000klms off road, about 1500klms of pretty serious off road towing 1.2T camper.
I'm very happy with them, they are significantly quieter then the old model, jury is still out on what the final range will be on them because it still worries me how much softer the compound seems to be.
I hope you can find them cheaper, that's daylight robbery at that price crozmac

Well went around Invercargill, New Zealand today to find the best price on these tyres. And the best price I came back with was $515 fitted and balanced.
Seems to me you guys in Oz get them a lot cheaper over there haha.
Anyone in NZ on here that knows of any cheaper places to get them??

Just got back from a few days up the Vic High Country, which was the first really serious test for them on my rig.
Impressed doesn't even begin to cut it - these things took on and conquered absolutely everything I threw at them - huge hills, big rock faces, slippery descents, bog holes, river crossings & never skipped a beat!
All the other boys had muddies on their cars and they were amazed at how well they went.

It killed, or rather injured mine too, had to take it out and clean up, it is working again, but eventually i will have it totally reconditionedOriginally posted by fido666 View Post

Had mine on for a few weeks now but only just got a chance to see how they went in the bush, after a run around up the scarp east of mandurah on some pretty rough old logging tracks/rocky clay descents and climbs and I'm happy as Larry with how they went, loving them on road as well very surprised they are quieter than my KO's were.

Just had 5 fitted today. Tyreplus Burliegh heads $329, Including a wheel alignment and free rotation at 10k. The guys removed the plastic backing without me saying anything about rubbing on the rear door. BJ tyres quoted $355 plus $ wheel alignment.

I've had this problem before, ended up having to remove the tyre from the rim and clean out all the cr@p before re-mounting the tire on the rim.Originally posted by Borec View Postcould be, will have to take the wheel off to find out

Do it sooner rather than later. If grit is left in the bead too long it eventually chafes the bead, wearing it away and making the tyre rubbish. You can't repair a damaged bead

After a 4x4 training weekend at Yarck (TLLCv), which involved some bog holes, mud, and lots of forest tracks with stick rocks here and there, I have a slow puncture in my new KO2 ATs (3 months old). Not happy, it takes about 2 days to get it down from 50 to 10. I will put in some slime next time it goes down, before I pup it up to 50 again and see if that holds.
