Special on 275/65 D694

Apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn't find anything.

Jax have D694s in 275/65R17 on sale - reduced from $349 to $249 (F&B). Just pick up a set of 5. Special price ends nationally this Saturday, 31 May.

Officially 275/65 on 7 1/2 rims is at the max end. However the extra 10mm width and 7mm lift (as measly as this is) can't hurt. Especially at that price.

After a few calls I determined that some of the Jax stock was up to 4 years old though so I went to Bridgestone who price matched and picked up a set straight off the boat. Everyone else I called was happy to match the Jax sale price.

When I got some D694 a month back I was told they were a new tyre, previously D693, so I assumed they were a newish tyre design. But yeah they were brand new made i March08.

I should add that the new ones I got were also from Bridgestone.

694s have been around for quite a few years now... not sure exactly how long though.

Thats what i paid for mine 3 months ago $349.00 trust them to have a sale now :roll:
