  • Considering Nexen Roadine HTX RH5

Its time for me to change the tires, well, I am actually forced to do so because my tires are nearing 5 years of age, and I know they would fail the car at inspection just because of that, they drive and feel fine otherwise and probably have less than 35,000 Ks on them. I have the Firestone Destinations, I know that most either never heard of them or perhaps do not like them, the car came with them on when I bought it.

I am looking at the Nexen tire which is made in Korea, not sure if the shop carries the LT variety or not. Any experience with these tires? Other options I have are the OEM Dunlop AT20s (which I never had a problem with in the past), Yokohamas 051 or 056, or Bridgestone (at the higher end). Would really like to save on buying new tires, car is used for 98% highway duty with a few off road trips, mainly on soft sand. Please find a link to the tire here http://www.nexentireusa.com/tires/su...oadian-htx-rh5

    Your input would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

I still I have a few months before I have to register the car, so I can wait until I have a few positive responses, or not
