You will find the speedo will be out unless your speedo is totally out of wack with stock tyres.
Mine running 265/70 is out the wrong way.
Factory it was low. Eg 103kmh displayed = 100 kms real time.
When I changed Bridgestone d694 in 265/65 it was dead accurate.
Changing to 265/70 it's now out the wrong way. 5%. 100 on dash = 105 in real speed. Cost me a couple fines over the years.
If going to a 33 I'd think error will be much larger. Maybe 100 displayed = 108 or more...
Spacers if found will get you a defect.
I've been pulled over for them before on one of our other heavily modified cars. Luckily it has a dedicated racecar rego and couldn't be defected. Popo was going to defect me till I pointed out the special rego type and he let it go.
Surprised he didn't question the full roll cage. Way more obvious than spacers.. 😂
If your in an accident or worse injure someone. Spacers could see you in serious trouble. Insurance companies will use anything to get away with not paying. And authorities will cast a blame on the owner/driver if its modified.
