OK. A +12 would most likely reduce the rubbing on the mudflaps.

        Hi there guys,
I did some light off-roading this past weekend the the tyres faired well. I've solved the front mud flap rub by removing the mud flaps, drilling another hole in each one 2 inches below existing hole and refitting. Will try to take some pics of the mod this weekend. Some more pics of the 33"s.

so what is the size of your wheel? and what offset?

can you get some pics down the side to show how close they are to the guards?
a mate of mine is selling some 285/70/17s with a 0 offset that are on his hilux, and a few other have fitted the same setup but don't really show pics to see if it hang out of the guards.

I'm running 285 70 17 on +10 offset. Have 2" dobinson lift and have made very minor mods to inner guards to prevent rubbing on full lock. May rub slightly on compression but not to stressed.
