I have my old Grandtreks still in my garage, they've done around 1000km and someone offered to buy them. I could do with the space and wondered what would be a fair price?
mine where traded at 150 each, somewhere between 150-200 each would be far.

I guess only you can really answer this question. Depends on how badly you want to get rid of them, and the willingness of the customer to pay a 'price' that both you and they find fair.
As a second-hand tyre, you will make loss as they buyer is taking a risk for purchasing a used product. In acceptance of this risk, the buyer gets to negotiate a discounted price. And the difference, of course, needs to be sufficient to make it attractive from buying new (RRP).
Why don't you test the market... and put an 'any reasonable offer considered' up for consideration :?: :?: :?:
The number and speed of responses will give you a quick indication of their present 'market value'. Otherwise checkout trading post, ebay and even do a general google search to get some ideas of what others are asking.

Out of interest, in Adelaide I was recently quoted $200 a tyre (fitted) from Beaurepaires for Grand Treks 'take-offs' - they have only done a few kms from the dealers and are then swapped over. They were the narrow 225/70s.
Cheers Tim
