    • I just got home from having the new tyres fitted.
The first thing I noticed was how little noise they make, I was expecting them to be a lot louder.
They do have to much air in them I think..they are fairly hard, when I asked what pressure was in them I was told 40psi.
I think I will be dropping them to around the 35 mark and see how they go.

      Anyways..here's a couple of shots.

They certainly do look good! They also back up their good looks with good performance. I have almost 70k on mine and when I think back to the punishment they've taken along with plenty of low pressure sidewall action, I'm hooked. I only have eyes for ATZ 4 .

                  Cheers,

                    • I dropped the pressures to 36psi and wow what difference that made...the bus rides a lot smoother now and handles better too.
When I checked the presuures the front where at 41 and 43 the backs where at 44 and 43...no wonder I thought they where hard.

So far I am stoked with them, look forward to getting the bus dirty now and see how they go.

                      • Got another quote today, $380 from Victor Harbor Discount Tyres, not the most awesome price in the world but the best I have come up with so far.

                          • You might find Justo that they still run their 'minimum RRP' price which the dealers are not allowed to quote below. Was both a MT and Coopers policy when I last bought a set of MT's, its all about their respective brand values.

                            • Hey Guys

Has anybody ran either the 4 Ribs or 5 Ribs on stock suspension and stock rims.

I have a Stock 2006 and would like to know if you had a problem with them rubbing (On Road and Off Road)

                              Thanks

I can't comment on stock suspension (I have OME 2" lift), but I have 5 ribs in a 265/70/17 on stock rims and never had a scrape.
