74K on my 6 Grandtreks so far. Ready for replacement. About 25K of it was bass boat towing. Very happy. May put another set...

Re: How many Km r you getting out of ya rubber

I have been running the Grandtreks in the summer (which is highway) and BFG 265/70/17 in the winter for trips. I expect the Grandtreks to get about 60,000. I was really pleased with the BFGs until the last trip over some stony roads in the Davenport Ranges (NT) where the treads got cut up quite badly. Don't know if the BFGs will see 60k now, which is a lot less than I got from the ones on my old 90 series.

Theres still plenty of meat on them as well so thats probably why... My God!!! The above car has just completed 130K and the original Grandteks have only just been replaced....I questioned him about this and he claims that the Prado he had previously also went over 120K . However, the above vehicle that I have been impatiently waiting for since December has still not been delivered to me by the stork! :x The company he works for decided to extened the lease a few months and now he is waiting for his 150 delivery (who knows how long that is going to take with whats happening in Japan) So I have had enough of the waiting and put a deposit today on a dealer sale 04 Petrol Grande (Black) with 105000k on the clock. purchased a 3 year Warranty with it also just to be sure. Very tidy, comes with colour coded Sahara bar with winch & IPF's mounted and a GME TX3400. The dealer put on some new H/T somethings but as soon as I get some more coin I will be going the new Mickey Thompson STZ's, so hopefully good Klms will be had by these also (dont know about 130K though.....)

70,000 out of the orginal Grandtreks but I found after 50,000 that off-road (just dirt road) they just became to unstable, still OK on the highway. BFG ATs seem a good way to go, let you know when they wear out.

80K on BFG A/T , took them off the camper originally, one has worn more than the others, trip to the cape cut them up a lot, but they will do 90K, unable to balance now.
I used to have a Calais that did 17K between sets?????

Just hit the 100,000km mark on my Goodyear Silent Armour AT's that need to be replaced; enough tread for 10,000km, however, the rubber has hardened and things get slippery in the wet. Only gripe I have about these is that when purchased the only size that fit the Prado was the 265/70/17 and bigger tyres mean more fuel consumption. They now have a 265/65/17 which I will be installing once I get the current set replaced.

Up to 70,000 on my Toyo Open Country AT and still have about 6mm tread depth left. Probably leave them on for another 15000 or so. Haven't been looking after them too well either. Been rotating them every 20000 kays and check tyre pressures about once a month. Still fine on the road (still as good as new in the wet) but wouldn't use them anymore for any serious offroad work. Still as I paid $260 per tyre I can't complain about the mileage / value of them.

done over 41,000 on my BFG AT's so far, they are going pretty hard, not reacting very flash in the wet, might try something else when they are shagged..

Original Grandtreks, 2 did 16,000kms, and 2 did 20,000kms. Cooper ATR's, 4 did 32,000kms - got warranty replacement and only had to pay 1/2 price. Current set of Cooper ATR's, 2 have done 25,000, will be lucky to do 5,000 more, other 2 have done 37,000, might get 2,000 more. Tyre Retailer has already got the warranty claim sorted with the Cooper Rep. NB I live in the Hills, and drive to and from work 40kms each way all windy hills roads. Will try Cooper AT3's next, as they have longer warranty km's.

There's a message in that sort of performance (or lack there of) - buy something other than Coopers. Many posters on this forum have had nothing but trouble with this brand including yours truly. 1 x ATR delaminated at under 2000km and four more dead under 16,000. My brother's Navara killed 2 ATRs at a shade under 10,000 on the rear and fronts gone at 12,000. Save yourself the grief and get something reliable.

Have just milked 80,000km from a set of Bridgestone D694's - including Plenty, Tanami, Gibb River Rd, Simpson Desert.
Not much left on them now of course.
Will happily purchase another set very soon.
