Dunlop,s V Cooper,s ???

Hi,
I have a 2008 GXL D4D running the Dunlop AT20 265-65-17 currently at 49,000 KLM and about 10,000 to go ( Alignment/Rotate and balance every 10,000)

Can anyone tell me if they have run coopers on their Prado ? if so which ones and how did they go?

What would you recommend?

i got cooper st on mine, only done 5000km on them, all good so far, wearing well. cheers samo

i am running STT's ...They have been brilliant....currently 55'000kms on them and they wont die..i figure they are 2/3rds worn.

they have been through some very gnarly stuff usually rocky conditions..

i have already ordered there replacement stt's...

Cooper ST's for me .. 265/70/17. Was concerned about noise... but nah... no worries. Excellent grip, had em on for 20000now and hardly worn. Look good, drive good, feel good, made for it i reckon!

I don't have Coopers on my Prado but I had a set of ST's on my old GU Patrol, I had about 70,000 km on them when I sold the car and I reckon they still had another 20,000 on them. In the 70k i drove on them there was a fair bit of rock and mud driving on them, only problem I had was a bit of chipping on a trip to the Flinders but that was probably more due to running the pressures too high than an issue with the tyre.
I would definately get them again.

Have got Cooper atr's 265/65 17 done about 45k still got about 20 in them don many beach trips ( Double Island and Fraser) and traveled to western Qld on them not a drama. being an ex Toyoat mech I wouldn't give a pocket full of goat s*#t for the factory Dunlops.
