Replacement tyres under warranty

Well got phone call when vehicle was in for service saying that the tyres were chopped out due to dud tyres and wheel alignment specs.
They were willing to replace them at a pro rata rate depending on vehicle mileage. So four new tyres at $200! Get home and think wonder if they did the spare???
So I have a look and no its not done. Well spare has never been on road so new tyre for nothing thanks!!

Still waiting for their reply on that one...... :shock: :shock:

Pro rata warranty my arse... If the dealer didn't align the car correctly, and the tyres were duds, you should have got a new set for nix...

Could have been worse... some dealers could have tried to scam a new set onto you at full price.
