I've been really happy with my ST's so far (fingers crossed as they say) and after the 10,000k rotation Hammond 4WD gave them the all clear.
Are you considering trading the prado in for a Jeep?
    http://www.hammond4wd.com.au/

This is their branding now http://www.tyresandmore.com.au/

Although the other week when I had the 10,000k rotation done there was an awful lot of jeeps in the car park.
    Cheers, Leon

        George,
the spare is a Toyo Opat AT in the same size, so no chance in them giving me a 5th tyre, I asked but they only laughed. The 4 Cooper tyres being replaced are from different batchs as the build date is different for all the tyres, I suggest anyone with these tyres to check them, from what I have seen they are splitting on the side with the white lettering, if your white lettering is on the inside you wont see the splits until you remove the tyres or crawl under to check them

Coopers replaced my front right that cracked without question. My other 3 have been fine so far, have just clicked over 10k with them. Very happy.

I just replaced my first set of Cooper ST's (265x70x17) after having covered 125,000 km on them. I was so happy with them, I got another set of them.

On another thread in here I posted pics of my ST's that have 50,000 on them. still a heap to go in the current environment that they are used.

                  I'll get them again.

                  Jeff.
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

STs got hard compound in them so you can get high mileage out of them
but because of that they tend to chip badly when used in rocky areas like Vic High Country etc....

Im up to 75k on the STs on my Triton work truck, 265 75 16 with the heavy walls, these have been used hard since day one, used almost every day offroad, gravel roads and on rock, I run hard up against the GVM alll the time and run nitrogen to keep the pressure constant ( 40psi) There is definately some chipping, scratching and gouges of the lugs etc and they are pretty well worn but I couldnt be happier with how they have gone and will be definately going with them again, I havent had one single flat the whole time either.
