Tyre wearing in process

Hi guys i am getting some new tyres for my trip which im leaving for on the 30th June. I was wondering if there is any sort of wearing in process meaning should i get the tyres now and run around on them for a couple of weeks or just get them the day before i leave

Oh i am looking at BF in the 265/65/17 size

I'd get them a week or 2 before you go to ensure the valves/beads are seated properly (no leaks), they're balanced properly (no steering wobbles) and it gives you enough time to scuff them up with regular driving so you're not driving on green tyres.

I'd get them early as possible so if you do have a problem, you've got time to sort it out. The wear in that time isn't going to be significant.
