Hi guys! I would like to upgrade the tires on my 2004 Toyota Landcruiser Prado GXL. Are Mickey Thompson Tires' ATZ P3 worth the price? I am tempted to place an order.

Yes. Awesome tyre.. However why would you bother buying from an American website, when you can buy them here a lot cheaper.. No warranty or freight issues then either.. there is plenty of information on https://www.mickeythompsontires.com.au/Comment

Bit late in replying for you Piggy.
I fitted FIVE Yokohama GO15s to my 2009 120 GXL 1KD 12 months ago, @ just over $1000!
My driving is mainly suburban & highway towing, previous tyres Yokie GO12s fitted well before I bought it & were on the vehicle for over 8 years & 70K - still with plenty of tread but they began leaking through cracks in the tread groves. Geo12s are good on/off road tyres but tread goes hard with age too! At the time GO12s were much more expensive too!
Anyway with 25K on the GO15s I am "excited" living with these GO15s (maybe not for heavy bush bashing though). They come with a stake or puncture replacement policy.
They are so QUIET!!!! on highway & grip like a vice in wet on blacktop & good on gravel - no chunking. Wear so far is good. Currently sell around the $185 - 190 mark.
BTW I went to Tyres & More Coopers Plains - they gave me 25% discount on ALL five tyres!Great fast service if you book too! (No affiliation etc.)Comment

Again a later reply but I’ve got 75k out of my ATZ P3’s and probably got another 5-10k left .. they’re a bit noisy now though but that’s what you get with a mud tyre. Did cape york 2x 30day trips plenty of soft dry sand at pennyfarther and the Jardine mouth.. didn’t miss a beat.. didn’t see much mud, they’re fine on rocks as well tred blocks didn’t chip. Make sure what your towing is well protected ... they’re good at hurling stones2018 VX PradoComment
