Hi,
I was on the Oodnadatta Track and it was recommended that I carry a second spare tyre and the navigator determined that it was essential.
The best I could do was a steel 16” Toyota hilux rim that at worst, would fit my 17” be cause the stud pattern is the same and the offset is minimal.
As it is a 2nd spare I haven’t tried to fit it to the car but am wondering with the limited information supplied , can anyone tell me that the rim will infact help me limp into town if required?
I guess my question is whether there is any way to determine whether the hilux rim will fit without actually trying to fit it? (Guess I’m lazy)
