Wanted to see if anyone was running these King Wheels Chrome 17x8 steel rims?

Interested in pictures of your rig with these rims. I am looking at getting a second set for play and am not sure if I should get the black or the chrome.

    Black rims look like this:

2014 Toyota Prado 150 D4D Auto (facelift); ARB Deluxe Bullbar; OME 2" Lift; Rhino Pioneer Platform Rack; Redarc BCDC 1225 with Optima Yellow Top; BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2; Lightforce Genuine Custom 70w HID; GME UHF; Safari Snorkel; Rigid Industry SR-Q2 side lights (yet to be installed); Domin8or winch (yet to be installed)

Are they offset for Prado or do they have the 2 inch offset (same as Trak 2 from ROH)?

I thought they were silver - not chrome finish.

I have a set of ROH Trak 2 (white) which I used to run on my 98 Prado. Now I have them on my camper trailer with spares. These are fitted with 16inch BFG A/Ts but they will work on the 120 as a temporary spare if I need them. I also have another set of steel 17 inch Prado GXL rims which will soon be fitted with BFG M/Ts as my "bush" tyres.

I have a set of black ones that I put on when I go offroad. Have a look at NSW Trip Reports for Newnes Sunday 18th of July for a few shots of my rig in action.

I can recall your vehicle posted numerous times in the forum.

How are you finding the rims? I assume you have the 17x8 size? do you get much rubbing in the inner guard? What tyres are you running on this rig? Did the centre bits come with the rims?

Yes, they're the 17 x 8 ones and I'm running them with BFG AT's in 265/17/R65LT. Together they weigh a bloody ton and that's reflected in my fuel economy, which goes up a couple of litres per 100 according to the Scanguage. It's not reccommended that you drop one off the studs onto your big toe when wearing thongs either
They've been a bit hard to balance but that's mostly due to the tyres, not the rims. Last outing I swapped the fronts to the rear and didn't get any vibration through the steering wheel.
The last trip to Newnes I got a couple of scrapes from rocks so it's better that I do it to them and not my alloys.
I haven't noticed any scraping on the inner guards at all. Didn't bother getting the caps with them as I generally don't leave them on long enough to care about how they look.
          Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback mate, I think you have just convinced me to get a set.

Why not just buy the the OE Prado steel wheels from Toyota?
