Here's a question for the wise ...
You're all familiar with the 120 series Prado stud pattern. I've got the 17" alloys with the step down wheel nuts that locate the alloy rim on the hub.
My Trak Shak CT has Nissan hubs. The same 6 studs, but the thread appears finer. So, the Toyota wheel nuts do not fit on the Nissan studs and vice versa.
I've tried the Toyota wheels on the Ct and they appear to fit fine - the stud spacing appears OK - It just seems to be the thread on the studs that is the issue.
I want to fit the Prado alloys to the CT - so that I have the same wheels and tyres all around.
To me it appears that I just have to swap out the Nissan studs for a set of Toyota ones (I'm thinking of taking it down to the local trailer place and getting him to swap them over). Is it this simple ?
I haven't gotten around to pulling out the verniers and double checking the stud sizes yet.
Has anyone else been down this path with their trailer ?
Cheers
