3 door verses GXL

I have today been told by a Technical guy at Toy head office that KDSS is an option on Zr and some came with it and some didn't.
He also told me that as of October 2012 Toyota changed the suspension in the ZR to remove the "wallowing issue " and severe diving under brakes.

I drove mine today and think it definitely is a better setup(mine has only done 320 kms since I bought it). I even took it to a suspension guy in coopers Plains Brisbane on the way to work and he took it for a test drive and asked why you would change the suspension.....

Guess Toyota have worked the bugs out of the MY13 in regard to suspension.

As a side note I had the steinbaeur chip fitted today....wow .....nice difference and so much smoother between the gears . vehicle is also considerably stronger and no turbo lag at all. !!! Well worth the dollars in my mind....

I think I may have just missed out. Mine is a Oct 12 model and she dives badly. Especially doing a bit of off roading she really washes out in the front. Only good part of this is the missus says we have to get better suspension because the wallowing makes her feel sick. Now how do I make her feel sick to get a winch, mmm?

KDSS is the swaybar control system. The adjustable height requires rear air suspension which doesn't fall under any of the acronyms Toyota spews out in the ebrochure. It is also not mentioned in the spec in the shorty section of the brochure.

Drive straight into quick sand but make sure you have another mate with a winch

Tell her if you put a winch on the weight of it might stop the wallowing. Then when that does not work get the suspension done.

Yes, might work. Say that the winch is analogous to the keel on a boat.
