G’day Everyone,
Just new to the forum and I am looking for some help.
I am seriously looking at purchasing a 150 series SX later in the year (can’t justify the extra $’s for the ZR) for the purpose of towing a small pop-top caravan on some long trips throughout Australia. I have been for a ride in the ZR (driver was my son-in-law) and was very impressed. I couldn’t drive it as I have a disability and can only drive an automatic vehicle modified with a Fujicon left foot accelerator.
This brings me to my questions.
1. Can someone tell me if there is anything in or under the driver’s side foot well, just below the brake pedal, which would prevent the fitting of the modification? It requires the drilling of two holes in the floor about 3 to 4 inches (75 to 100mm) apart and the use of two bolts to hold the modification in place.
2. It also requires the removal of the footrest. Can this be easily removed freeing up that space?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
