I had Powerful 4x4 slider/side steps installed today at local TJM. Will add photos to my rig build up as soon as I get the time in daylight.

I had Powerful 4x4 slider/side steps installed today at local TJM. Will add photos to my rig build up as soon as I get the time in daylight.

Can I ask how much work was involved or how much they charged? I just called TJM Dandenong and they said $200 to fit as it required drilling the frame etc. I thought these bolted into holes already in the frame and would not take long to fit

TJM Geelong quoted me $880.00 fitted, which I thought was fair so I didn't get a breakdown of supply and fit. Not sure how much work was involved. I just left the Prado with them for the day.

Thanks. TJM Dandenong quoted $799 supply and $200 to fit and I thought that was expensive.

Hi

We have a Prado 150 GX and are looking for suitable steps. We don't plan serious off road work, rather we will be towing so the steps fitted to the GXL and above would be fine. These are not available as an accessory and I understand are very expensive as a spare part. The dealer offered to fit Kingsley integra steps but they don't look very nice.

Has anybody seen or bought a sets of these? From the very poor online photo they seem to be very similar to the GXL steps. I asked for a better photo but just got sent the online ones and as I am in Adelaide I cant easily inspect them in Qld.

Thanks for that Hutch, we are also looking at these on Ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aluminium...ht_3296wt_1141 but I dont think they look as nice. I have asked the seller for a better photo.

Theat just looks like a photo of a VX or Kakadu with again factory sidesteps, I woul be asking for the exact photo, the company auto equip r at least been around and r known.

Hey WDTP, I've got a set of near new original toyota steps off my 150 gxl. I put the TJM air bag compatible ones on and kept the others for a rainy day!! PM me if your interested.

I had the same problem, i could only afford a gx really.
But on car sales .com there were some gx going for more than gxl, varying state to state.
I picked up my gxl from lilydale melbourne and drove it back to adelaide.
I paid 58 grand including all on road costs.

Anybody know of some good quality side steps or rock sliders available for the 150 GX. Preferably I would like to get hold of some in black powder coated steel but I'm not totally opposed to alloy if they were substantial enough. I am in WA. I have searched around the net and found very little information. I'm surprised the after market manufacturers are not all over this one given the amount of GX 150 mining vehicles running around.

TJM have them for the 150.

ARB look to have just released their side steps for the 150 and they can be integrated with their side rails.

a close look shows the front parking sensors in the catalog pic. I wonder if that means they might fit KDSS prado's??

I've sent an email to ARB asking for price and compatibility with my VX - KDSS equpipped Prado. Hopefully the answer is yes because my OEM sidesteps are nearly falling off

Pic has VX/Kakadu rims on it so it might just fit a KDSS Prado.
