  • ARB Sahara BAR

    Hi Guys,

    Does anyone have the ARB Sahara Bar fitted to their Prado 150 ? Just interested to see what it looks like and any issues, was thinking about going down the Deluxe Bar option, but wondering if the Sahara Bar would be lighter. I only really need the bar to mount my winch.

    I have a sahara bar... check out my buildup.

    Issues? none at all

    lighter than deluxe bar? I don't know... deluxe bar has thinner bar-work but more of it, the sahara has one chunky tube in the middle. If weight reduction is key for your needs, ARB actually sell the Sahara without that centre tube . It would still be winch compatible too.

      Id also consder the Ironman Deluxe Commercial Bar, it is 100% identical, but costs far less.

              Looks can be deceiving, the quality is nowhere near the same.

                  i have the sahara bar from arb. it looks good on the black car because it gives you a little colour lift up front, that is why we went that way. the single chrome bar at the front just looked a bit better than an all black bar. i know it works well becasue we have had an animal strike already and not a problem for the bar.

                    It's not marketing that makes the ARB bar so much better in comparison to the Ironman...It's the whole corporation that does.

                    Nothing is indestructable... and things have the flaws,there is no perfect product in any market place! Ive seen broken down Ferrari's but in the end the Ferrari is made a whole lot better than a Falcon!

                            AND STILL no mention of fitting recovery points with their bars ONLY FACTORY TOW POINTS. makes it all pretty useles when you got to leave the car behind stuck out in the bush to rust because you have no way of recovering it. At least if a kangaroo comes hopping along whilst your stuck i suppose your vehicle is protected

                            that whole video is designed for marketing to sell their bullbars. dont suppose we will ever see ARB listen to the needs of us when all we ask for is some little old recovery points or a way to fit them. (Just my opinion)
